Laser Tag - Light Collimation

The light collimation part genuinely surprised me — you can actually see the beam tighten when you line the lenses up right. Spent a solid hour tinkering with it after my son went to bed, which says something.

My kid loved assembling this laser tag kit — the way it focuses light into a tight beam is surprisingly educational and fun.

I got this to keep both my kids busy on a rainy Saturday and they spent almost two hours fiddling with the mirrors and lenses. Seeing them figure out how to line up the beam was worth it alone, and now my eight-year-old keeps explaining reflection to anyone who'll listen.
