Copy Buddy - Polarization

The polarizing filters were the part I didn't expect to get so into — twisting two lenses to make the light vanish never got old. We built it together on a rainy Sunday and it turned into a whole afternoon of "okay, but why does that work?" Exactly the kind of hands-on thinking I hoped for.

I grabbed this to brush up on engineering thinking, and the way it walks you through polarization step by step is genuinely satisfying. Took me an evening to build with my nephew, and we both came away

My kid spent a solid hour just rotating the lenses and watching the light disappear, which never happens with anything else we've bought. The build instructions were clear enough that he assembled most of it himself, and I ended up learning something about light too.
