Head Over Heels - Angular Momentum

My nephew spent a solid hour just tweaking the angles to get the momentum right, which is way longer than he usually sticks with anything. It's genuinely a build-first, figure-it-out toy rather than something that just does the work for them. Watching him redo a step because it didn't launch the way

My nephew spent a solid hour just figuring out how the angular momentum made the whole thing tip and spin without falling over. I like that it doesn't hand kids the answer, they actually have to tinker with it. Way better than the plastic junk that breaks in a week.

I've had this spinning on my desk for about a week now and it still surprises me how long it keeps going after one good push. The weighted base keeps it from wobbling off the edge, which is more than I can say for the cheap one I had before. My kids keep stealing it, so I might need a second.
