Card Dealing Robot - Color Sensor

My kid spent a solid hour just getting the color sensor to read the cards right, and honestly that trial-and-error part taught him more than any worksheet. Now it actually deals a full hand without jamming, which surprised me for something built from a kit.

The color sensor on this robot is surprisingly precise—it sorted a mixed deck by suit in under two seconds. Building it was genuinely fun, and the mechanics feel solid enough for repeated use.

My kid spent a whole afternoon tuning the sensor so it would deal the right number of cards, and honestly I got sucked into it too. It's basically a little engineering lesson disguised as a toy, and the dealing mechanism actually works once you get the calibration right.
