Range Repeater - Parabolic Lens

My kid spent a solid hour aiming the parabolic dish at the TV remote just to see if it would bounce the signal around the corner, and it actually worked. The lens snaps together without any glue, which meant he built the whole thing himself.

I picked this up thinking it'd be a quick afternoon thing, but the parabolic lens part actually had me fiddling with the focal point for an hour. My kid and I took turns aiming it at the TV remote from across the room, and it worked way better than I figured. Solid little engineering lesson disguise

My 9-year-old built the parabolic lens in about twenty minutes and spent the rest of the afternoon aiming it at sounds around the house. The assembly actually teaches how the curve focuses incoming waves instead of just snapping together.
